When did you join pedal? 2015

How long have you been riding and racing? I started mtb riding in college at CSU 2004 – 2005. Racing started in 2015.

What have you done to add value for our sponsors recently? How did you do it?

I try to promote our sponsors by word of mouth on the trails, at work or throughout the community via social media.

What sponsor cant you live without, and what product or service of theirs do you like/need so much?

I definitely can’t live without the deliciously authentic Italian food at Romano’s Pizzeria.  My favorite dishes would be their chicken parmigiana. Great place to go for some carbo loading!

Check out their menu: romanospizzeria.com

Favorite motivational quote/saying? A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.

Best race or ride experience or highlight?

My best race experience so far would have to be Winter Park’s Super Loop last year. I crashed hard at the beginning of the race. With 13 miles to go, I still managed to finish the race and get on the podium – battered and bruised. I’m humbled by the experience and reminded that racing is all just for fun. I’ve also learned to not go out too hard and to not get too caught up in the prospect of winning too early on in the race.

What are your goals or what are you looking forward to in 2017?

I am set to improve my times in WP races, RME series and the Gunnison Half Growler. I’m most looking forward to the Firecracker 50. This will be my first 50 miler and longest race I’ve committed to so far.
